Cosy Winter Wishes Blanket

I know I said there would be no new Christmas blanket from me this year, but you know me, always faffing with something!

Not everyone celebrates Christmas so I thought it would be nice to make some tweaks to my Christmas Eve Wishes blanket to make it Winter themed rather than all out Christmas overload 😆. Everyone celebrates cosy season!

I’ve replaced the Gingerbread men with Nordic Houses and Santa Hats with cute bobble hats. There are 3 different bobble hat charts so you can choose the one you like best. If you’re feeling adventurous you could mix and match them!

If you fancy a change from snowflakes there is an optional heart chart. I’ve included snowflakes in my version because I just love doing them, but you could replace both sets with hearts if you prefer.

I am using Sirdar Hayfield Bonus Dk

2 x Pearl Grey

3 x Cream

3 x Fawn

1 x Oatmeal

If you would like to make Cosy Winter Wishes you will need the Christmas Eve Wishes pattern. You can find the pattern with the Cosy Winter Wishes charts supplement in my shop here.

If you fancy the full on Christmas experience then the original Christmas Eve Wishes Blanket may be the one for you. It’s still my most popular pattern. T.his was originally a CAL and you can find links to all the parts in this post

Snufflebean Yarn has a pack in her shop for this one too here.

I really hope you enjoy making this new version of the blanket. If you would like to make along with other people you can join my Facebook Group. It’s a lovely friendly and supportive group and we would love to see you there.
