The Memento Blanket Part 12 - Ice

January, and the last square of our Memento Journey.

I think it’s fair to say that us Brits are obsessed with the weather. Our conversations will nearly always have some sort of weather reference in them, and we have plenty to talk about at the moment. It’s absolutely freezing! I took this photo in my garden. The frost is beautiful to look at when you don’t have to venture outside.

I’ve made a huge dent in my basket of yarn scraps throughout the course of this project. This month I’ve included some lovely variegated blues. I have no idea what they are or what they are left over from, but it’s good to use them up.

I’ve been busy over the last few weeks, so I haven’t had time to join the squares or add a border. I’ll do that for one last instalment next month. I’ll leave you with a little preview of all the finished squares laid out together.

Keep warm!
