The Memento Blanket Part 5 - Strawberry

This year is just flying by and here we are in June already.

I’ve been leaning towards more subtle colour schemes in my projects over the last couple of years. This year, I’ve tried to incorporate more brights in my schemes. I knew that I wanted the Memento blanket to be a riot of colour. I don’t often use red, but I’m delighted with this square. The bright red and pink are such fun and the white joining stitches look like little strawberry seeds.

If this is the first part of this project you’ve seen, all the other parts are available to download in the free patterns section. Full instructions and the pattern for making the block is included in part 1. You can dive in here and catch up with other blocks later, or mix and match them however you choose. I’m totally in love with this blanket made entirely of Part 1 Valentine squares by Felicia. Isn’t it beautiful?

I hope you enjoy this, moths square. Remember to share with me on instagram @madebyanita or you can email them to me hello@madebyanita.co.uk. I’d love to share some here next month.
